What is volume? It is how much a container will hold or how much space a three dimensional figure contains.

How do you find the volume of a right rectangular prism?

Volume= length x width x height

How do you find the volume of prisms and cylinders?

Volume= Base x height

or V=3.14(pie)r squared x height

How do you find the volume of pyramids and cones?

Right pyramids- V=1/3 x base x height

Right circular cones- V= 1/3 (3.14 x r squared) h
